Description
The Gutkowski is a small hotel consisting of 25 rooms divided in two old buildings, in which originally lived fishermen and craftsmen, now restored in a contemporary style, respectful of the tradition. The hotel is located in Ortigia, the historical centre, in Lungomare di Levante, and some of its peculiar qualities – like the natural colours that surround the buildings, its intimate interior and friendly atmosphere – make of this place a suggestive hotel.
Rooms
All of the 25 rooms have a pleasant view: some of them face the sea, and from some of the others you can enjoy the beautiful vista of the Ortigia’s roofs. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, bar, satellite TV set, private bathroom with shower or basin, adsl plug for internet connection.
Services
Breakfast is all based on natural earth products . In summertime, it's possible to enjoy the breakfast on the terrace. The "Caffè Gutkowski", open from h.18.00 to h.24.00, gives the guests the opportunity of tasting a drink also on the terrace. It's possible to use the laundry service or ask for particular services like massages. It is also possible to arrange dinners on demand for 4 people or more. All the main historical sites of the centre are easy to reach walking. Small pets are accepted.
