Description
The city of Syracuse is divided into two parts, connected by two bridges across a narrow arm of the sea: This exquisite 19th building can be found in the heart of the historic centre of Ortigia. It enjoys a magnificent view of the glorious Ortigia sea. Giving onto the ancient “Mastra Rua” where the Siracusan nobility resided as far back as the 14th century, it is still a starting point for cultural and historical itineraries. Its recent restoration has maintained the original, well-planned structure which is made up of three buildings and this contributes to its dynamic layout.
Rooms
All thirty rooms, divided into Classic, Executive and junior suite, are furnished differently with antique furniture, four-poster beds and refined interior decoration which all add to its distinctive Sicilian touch as well as Mediterranean features such as colourful bathrooms tiles. Each room is provided with all the comforts and private bathrooms. Some rooms have solarium and jacuzzi.

The restaurant can be found on the ground floor in an area characterized by old stone arches, beams and decorated antique chests. The restaurant is settled in a fabulous position and with a wonderful view of the sea, offers a cuisine which is in total harmony with the spirit of the hotel and which distinguishes itself by its respect of Mediterranean traditions, proposing typical Sicilian dishes. Needless to say that the wine list is entirely Sicilian. Features
