GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL AND CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT
AGREEMENT
We will proceed on the effective booking procedure of the services requested only after we receive a written confirmation by mail or fax, by our clients. The booking will be definitively confirmed as we will send our Clients the Confirmation document and the Contract. Our clients has to sign the contract and send it back to Insolita Travels.
PRICES
Prices published on our website are subject to change without notice. Prices are fixed according to the present tariffs at the moment of the publishing date or the date of contract issue. We reserve the right to modify the prices within 20 days only before the date of your departure, just because of the rise of the transportation, petrol and taxes of tourist services. (especially for booking including flights reservation).
DEPOSIT
A 25% deposit is required on confirmation of the service that is to be provided. The balance has to be paid no later than 30 days prior to the date of departure. When bookings are made less than 30 days prior to the departure date, full payment is required immediately on written confirmation.
CANCELLATION BY INSOLITA TRAVELS
If a significant change occurs or We have to cancel or modify your booking contract, We will inform you as soon as possible about changes, offering you a new package tour and prices. If you do not accept the changes we propose to you, you have the right to be refund of the amount already paid or receive a new offer for a substitutive package tour. You will not be eligible for any compensation or reimbursement, if the changes or cancellation of your booking occurs by reason of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.
TERMS OF CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel your booking, The following charges will generally apply:
- from 29 to 20 days prior to arrival - 10% of the full amount
- from 19 to 10 days prior to arrival - 25% of the full amount
- from 09 to 04 days prior to arrival - 50% of the full amount
- from 03 to 02 days prior to arrival - 80% of the full amount
- Less than 48 hours or no show - NO REFUND.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, or for unused services during your trip, we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
LIABILITY
We act only as the agent for the suppliers and we shall not in any event be liable for negligence, breach of contract or act of omission on the part of the suppliers, their employees or any other agent . The Tour Operator won’t be liable for any loss, or additional expenses, injury, or damage to the participants or their belongings resulting directly or indirectly from any other occurrences beyond the control of the Tour Operator, including breakdown of equipment, strikes, acts of God, medical or customs regulations, delays, cancellations or changes of the hotel or transportation services.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your personal data will be used by Insolita Travels in respect of law in force, for purpose that are either directly related to the services you have requested for your package tour. The information gathered may be carefully passed only to selected third parties to be used for purposes relating the business.
COMPULSORY COMMUNICATION
Italian law punishes anyone who commit a crime concerning prostitution, exploitation of minors and paedophile pornography, even if the crime is committed abroad.
INSURANCE
The tour operator recommends to draw up a travel insurance covering cancellation costs, accident, illness, theft, liability and legal protection. Insurance nr 158803: Mondial Assistance Italy S.p.A
